Warsaw

Poland’s capital, called ‘Paris of the North’ in the XVIII century, rises on the banks of Vistula river.
The old city, destroyed by the bombing during World War II, was rebuilt the way it used to be. Today, it is one of the most beautiful cities in Eastern Europe.
Right the Old Town has been inscribed in the Unesco list. It develops around the stunning Market square and is surrounded by Neoclassical and Baroque palaces.
From the Old Town stems the Royal street that leads to Wilanów Palace.

Wilanów Royal Palace is known as ‘the Polish Versailles’.
Erected by King John III as summer residence, it exhibits Italian Baroque elements.

For a breathtaking view of the city and the surrounding plains, it is possible to climb up the observation deck of the Palace of Culture and Science, in the financial district.
The 756 foot high, 42-storey building is still now the most imposing in the Polish capital and the whole country.
