Chatbot

To improve its offer in services and client assistance, Bologna Airport implemented the online chatbot service, a tool that currently uses Facebook Messenger, an automatic responding system based on artificial intelligence.

The Chatbot system is a digital tool that uses artificial intelligence to increase its range of answers to questions presented to it and is able to "learn from conversations".

The system is already up and running and has proven very successful among its users, but AdB (Bologna Airport) aims to make it even more comprehensive and effective, to support passengers. Recently, airport parking messaging has been added to the system and new content will follow, which will be integrated according to the requirements of passengers.

Presently, the Chatbot provides information on the current flight situation in real time, parking, destination weather and national and international regulations related to Covid-19.

Useful guidance for users with electronic toll payment devices

If you purchase online with credit/debit cards or Satispay, you will have guaranteed access to the car park. If you prefer to pay with Telepass or UnipolMove, you cannot purchase parking online and access will only be subject to parking space availability.
