Business Ethics

Corporate Ethics is one of the main pillars of AdB S.p.A.’s governance and represents a key element of the internal control and risk management system designed to prevent risks that could compromise the responsible conduct of business. Accordingly, AdB has long adopted an organisational and management model aimed at linking the principles and rules set out in the Code of Ethics, the 231 Organisation and Management Model and the Anticorruption Policy, promoting close cooperation among company personnel, the 231 Supervisory Body and the Ethics and Anticorruption Committee.

In recent years, the Company has progressively extended the scope of its internal control and risk management system to the entities operating within its value chain by adopting a Supplier and Business Partner Code of Conduct – ESG Focus and a Responsible Value Chain Management Policy, with the aim of integrating Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles into procurement processes and into relationships with suppliers and business partners.

The Board of Directors of AdB has appointed a 231 Supervisory Body, an independent body with autonomous powers of initiative and control, responsible for overseeing the functioning and compliance of the Organisation, Management and Control Model, including the Code of Ethics, and for ensuring its continuous updating. In order to further promote ethical principles across corporate activities, the Board of Directors has also established an Ethics and Anticorruption Committee.
